The Bank Card Committee is pleased to announce the launch of our newly designed Commerce website!
We are excited to share with you the updates that we have made to improve our content, layout and services in order to better support Merchants at Western. The Bank Card Committee would like to direct your attention to some updated areas.
The Bank Card Committee has developed this section to assist Merchants in understanding the types of security breaches that put them at risk and the proper procedures for reporting a security breach of bank card processing systems or information. The plan is a two part process which involves Reporting a Security Breach using Western’s Security Breach Protocol and properly documenting a security breach using the Post-Reporting Incident Response Form.
This plan has been updated and should be reviewed by all Merchants.
The Bank Card Codes of Procedure (Financial Services, Information Technology, and Risk Management and Audit) have been updated to better reflect the most current version of the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS).
These procedures should be reviewed and understood by all Merchants and will help ensure PCI compliance.
Commerce at Western now has a news feed which will update Merchants on many different aspects of PCI compliance. Look for exciting new details and information about Commerce at Western.
We trust that you will find the updates to the website helpful and informative. Should you have any comments or have trouble locating information, please do not hesitate to send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Tip: If you have bookmarked pages and find that you are still getting old content or errors, please attempt to refresh the page, and/or clear your browsing data, and try again.
